Is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR MAĦRUQ għandu żewġ partijiet. (i) L-ewwel isir is-sinjal għal XAGĦAR b’id waħda li tieħu l-forma ta’ F bis-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej imissu u s-swaba’ l-oħra mifrudin u bil-pala tħares ’il barra. Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jaqbdu ftit xagħar mill-ġenb ta’ fuq ir-ras. (ii) Imbagħad isir is-sinjal għal IMKISSER. L-idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ ponn imissu min-naħa tas-saba’ l-kbir, bil-pala tħares ’l isfel. L-idejn iduru ’l fuq min-naħa ta’ ġewwa biex il-pala tiġi tħares ’il fuq qrib xulxin.
The sign for DAMAGED HAIR has two parts. (i) First the sign for HAIR is made with one hand that takes the shape of F with thumb and index finger touching and the other fingers apart and palm facing outwards. The thumb and index finger hold onto some strands of hair from the side top of the head. (ii) Then the sign for BROKEN is made. The hands take the shape of fists touching at the thumb with palms facing downwards. The hands turnd over from the inside so that the palms facing upwards close to each other.
